10 beauty products I’ll have forever

I don’t wear this everyday, but when I’m looking for a little something extra, I’ll use NARS illuminator to add a simple glow to my cheekbones. I sometimes use it on my eyelids too!

I know everyone has their go-to bronzer, but I thought I’d mention the one I use (almost) daily. I forgot my makeup bag onetime when visiting home and ended up having to use my sister’s Bare Minerals Faux Tan bronzer. I’d never tried it before because the loose powder intimidated me (ha!). But I’ve been using it ever since – it just goes on better than most other bronzers I’ve before.

You know how there are those people who carry chap stick with them everywhere? And then there are those that don’t, which is the group I fall in. I never got “hooked” on chap stick, but when my lips do get dry and/or bother me, I use Sugar lip Conditioner treatment because rather than making me want more in a few hours, it usually just solves the problem. It’s great!

I’ve been a loyal user of Cover Girl ‘exact lash’ mascara, but recently tried Benefit Cosmetics’ They’re Real Mascara and I must say, compared to all my other mascara-related risks, that this is the only one I’ve been happy with. It really is a great formula and the brush is the best part of it. I keep both mascaras in my makeup bag, though, because I think the “They’re real” mascara is a little harder to get off at night, so I don’t wear it everyday. But it’s perfect for a dramatic effect and/or when you want to have super black, long, and full lashes.

Urban Decay Eye Liner (perversion) – this stuff is the real deal. I can’t such much more than simply telling you that you’ll thank me later? I’ll never go back to my previous eyeliner (Lancôme) after trying this. Trust me.

For my blush, I used to wear more of a rouge, darker-tinted color than I do now. But that color doesn’t quite work for me anymore now that I’m always inside and thus don’t have quite the same sunkissed look I used to enjoy. Anyway, I started using Bobbi Brown’s classic, ”Pale Pink” Blush and I think it’s great. It’s much more feminine and less harsh than the darker color I used to use; plus I think any skin tone could pull it off.

I don’t know about you, but after washing my hands, I get this icky, dry feeling that drives me nuts. I can’t stand it. So I started carrying around Lollia hand cream a few years ago, and now I can’t leave the house without it. I love it! I’ve also just started using the L’Occitane hand cream in and love it as well!

I’ve always had a trusty Bobbi Brown Bronzing palette in my makeup bag – for as long as I can remember, actually. You can do a lot with these things and I always keep one handy for when I want to add a little more sparkle to my look.

Cover Girl Concealer hits the spot for me when it comes to concealer in general, but more so for concealing that dark nastiness under my eyes. I used to use Bobbi Brown’s brightener, which was wonderful, but I needed something with a little more moisture in it and this was the perfect balance for me!

and NARS Matte Lipstick in ‘Heat Wave’ – I just LOVE This color!!
