My Monogram Love Comes From My Mama

Call me southern cliché, but I’ve always had a soft spot for a classic monogram. My mom has always been into them and when I was younger, she’d have anything and everything monogramed that she could. And I absolutely loved it! Plus, it always made the simplest of things (like a pillow case) that much sweeter when your own personal monogram was on it! Before they were a “thing” (or at least they have been in the South for about 10 years), my mom got my sisters and me BIG gold swirly monogram necklaces on one of her trips to NYC. I remember thinking it was THE coolest thing ever and wearing it nonstop – we all did.

Moon & Lola’s Modern Monogram Necklace

If you’ve been following along for a bit, then you’re probably familiar with this fact that I love a good monogram and wear them all the time. I’ve been wanting a more modern-looking (non-script) necklace for over a year now, so I was super excited to partner with Moon & Lola to feature and style one of their classic their monogram necklaces. I already have their long charm necklace (I have the 30 in. chain) and love how I can switch it up from time to time to create different looks by adding new and different fun charms (love the pearl charm, rhinestone ball, and the tassel charms!).

I’ve been a lover of Moon & Lola for YEARS and have been a fan ever since I first discovered the brand when I got one of their monogram mugs as a gift during college. Their brand is all things happy and bright and so it’s sort of hard NOT to love. Plus, their site (and just their products in general which are sold all over the place) is chalk full of adorable little trinkets and gifts too!

Moon & Lola Holiday Wish List

Speaking of monograms, I’ve been scouring the Moon & Lola site and I’ve already got a few other adorable things on my wishlist for Christmas like this single letter necklace (OBSESSED) – except wait, I wonder if “B” would look weird because it would look like sunglasses? lol I think a “K” might be cuter! If you’re name starts with an “S”, you HAVE to get this because I can just imagine that would be adorable! And these Emily McCarthy x Moon & Lola Monogram Finials are ADORABLE and only $22 (perfect for gifts!) – they would add such a cute little detail to my bedroom side table lamp. I also LOVE this monogrammed boyfriend signet ring – it reminds me of those family rings some boys/men wear on their pinky fingers (know what I’m talking about??)

*honestly though (referring to the sizing I got/am wearing), I feel like they’re tight so I would probably get a 26 next time. So maybe you’d want to size up on these? Also, they’re pretty low cut compared to other jeans I wear, but all in all they’re my favorite slit knee black distressed jeans I’ve found so far.
