If you haven’t already noticed by now, the Nordstrom Anniversary Sale is amaze beyond compare, yet it can totally be a bit overwhelming. There’s just SO MUCH good stuff and it can be hard to figure out just what to take advantage of. It feels a little bit like black Friday or Cyber Monday – which I usually avoid at all costs. But I want to help you shop this sale because it’s too good not to enjoy :) Each day, I’m trying to take a different angle and find different ways to HELP you shop the sale without getting too overwhelmed.

Today I’ve picked out a few things that I think are YEAR ROUND essentials or that aren’t necessarily related to any particular time of year (like most o the #NSALE items are related to Fall). So if you’re just NOT in a Fall state of mind or ready to stock up on sweater and things (see some of my picks here!), then you can shop other things! Let me know what you think about today’s post or if you have any other suggestions – I had to draw the line somewhere but I very well could have made this post SO much longer!

Workout Clothes + Tennis Shoes

Tennis Shoes – I got these Nike  ‘Air Zoom’ Sneakers and I love them! They’re SO  comfy and look cute on your feet if that makes sense?! This is the best time to be shopping for running shoes and casual sneakers. If you’re like me I tend to have to replace them often from wear and tear. If you’ve been looking for sneakers for yourself and the whole family I guarantee you will find some on the Nordstrom anniversary sale.

Workout Clothes – I mentioned it on my snapchat over the weekend, but I picked up a few goodies while at the sale last week including this Zella ‘Dharma’ Hooded Jacket and this cobalt blue sports bra (in size Small) and I love love love them both! I also got this ‘alo’ racerback top in grey and I LOVE it.

Towels + Toiletries + Sheets

Waterworks Bath Towels – I know it seems pretty weird talking about towels from a fashion retailer, but Nordstrom actually has some great selections as far as home essentials. These turkish bath towels are incredibly soft and durable. You may not have thought of stocking up on these, but most recommend updating towels, especially hand towels, every year. So thank you anniversary for reminding me to clean out my linen closet.

Purity Facial Cleanser – If you are a looking for a great face cleanser that is soft on your skin, Purity has you covered. It has no harsh chemicals and will leave your skin feeling clean and refreshed. I use it everyday and am so happy with the results.

Sheets – How about snagging a pair of 400 threat count sheets while on sale?! I thought that was a great deal and these are the sheets that I currently have and LOVE!

Barefoot Dreams Robe – I’ve had this robe for forever and seriously look forward to snuggling up in it each morning! It’s the BEST!

Bras, Undies & Shapewear

Calvin Klein Pushup Bra – No brainer ladies. If you’re not getting properly fitted and buying new bras every year, you’re losing out. There are some incredible bra sales going on and the Calvin Klein Pushup is perfect for a little extra support. This will make you look awesome in all those striped tee’s.

Hanky Panky Sets (4 for $54) – If you are a Hanky Panky fan (holla!) now is definitely the time to stock up on this great deal. These are so comfortable and can easily be worn under anything form fitting. They come in every color, and make perfect gifts.

Hair Supplies

Hair Dryer – Do you have a good blow dryer? I’m not talking about one of those dinky ones from walgreens that you got 9 years ago – I mean like a LEGIT one. If not, now might be the time to pick one up! I highly recommend anything by T3 and the good news is that this T3 Hair Dryer is included in the sale!

Hair Supplies – And while we’re on the topic, let me suggest picking up a discounted value set of ‘Living Proof’ Shampoo and Conditioner – I love it! I also noticed the Drybar brush and curling iron set as well!

Makeup

Stock up on everyday (or night) makeup essentials like this amaze Bobbi Brown ‘Smokey Topaz’ Eyes Set or this NARS cheek palette and while you’re at it, grab yourself one of these Sigma Brush Cleaning Palettes that all the beauty bloggers have been raving about. I haven’t personally tried to brush cleaner, but I’ve heard it works wonders and I plan on picking one up this time around!

Accessories

Watch – Spotted this cognac leather Skagen watch and I think it’s a great everyday go-to or this one is really cute by Nixon.

The #NSALE always has a few great sunglasses on major sale and I was so excited to see that the ubiquitous (amaze!) Dior ‘So Real’ Sunglasses are included! #SCORE

Basic Closet Essentials

White tees – Get yourself a plain and simple white (black or striped!) tee for $17 while you can snag it at this price! I wear a size XS in this shirt for referene and I LOVE the fit of it!

Denim – If you saw my snapchat round up (or dresing room diaries) blog post from last week, then you saw how much I LOVE these AG ‘The Leggings’ Jeans and I think they’re SUCH a great steal right now! As far as I can tell, they run TTS.

Rain Jacket – A North Face Rainjacket for under $80?! Ummmm YES please! and it comes in 4 colors (I love the blush pink!)
