This past week has been a busy one! I spent most of the week in Charlotte visiting my friend Caitlin (you’ll see her in one of my photos below!). I was there for two full days, but I feel like we didn’t have enough time to hand out! Needless to say, I’m already planning my next trip (ha!).

I’m headed to my second (ever!) spin class with my friend Sadie in a few minutes, and I’m nervous. The last time I did it (which was like 4 years ago in Austin…ha!), I had a bruise on my rear for like a week! Is that TMI? Oops, oh well. My friends that do it, though, are telling me that apparently if you do spin consistently, then you don’t get a bruise? And yes, I have the most padded kind of spandex shorts you can buy (but I feel like that STILL won’t help – we shall see!) Anyway, I’m giving this whole spin thing another shot. Do any of y’all do spin? What’s your experience?

The floral bedding is from homegoods last year. The vase is from anthropologie; dresser is old from a small store in Baton Rouge; I made the “be still” calligraphy and framed it with this frame I found at TJ Maxx. Candle is votivo ‘red currant’ scent (the best!)
