Watching this video of myself makes me laugh…I’m such a nerd (insert hands-over-face emoji here). But I figured this would be the best and easiest way to explain what I’m trying to do here. In addition to everything I said in the video, I want to add that most of the things I’ll “try on” or talk about here will probably be IN ADDITION TO things on my blog! So in a sense, it’s like bonus content! And plus, it gives YOU more options to shop for all your various needs and upcoming occasions or what have you. And, it’s quicker and easier on me ;) We shall see how this goes! I’m excited about being totally UNEDITED with you all. To be completely honest, I don’t even know HOW to edit a video? So that’s why there’s a little bit in the beginning where I’m like….“wait is this recording? haha”

On a sidenote, as you’ll read about in my post coming this Friday (I think? or maybe Thursday if I get it done…), part of my mission for BTD is to be a RESOURCE for YOU. I don’t want the blog to be all about me in a vain sense but more so in a helpful sense – if that makes sense? I want BTD to be a place you go, where you feel like you actually left with something valuable. And although we all like to look at pretty pictures of outfits, don’t you sometimes leave feeling kind of “meh”?? Anyway, hopefully this will just be one more way that I can be helpful and fulfill the purposes in the mission statement you’ll see VERY Soon :)

But I wanted to go ahead and post this ASAP since you never know when this stuff will sell out (insert hands-over-face emoji again hehe). Ok so here we go…

First up we have this Line & Dot Fringe Top! I thought this was super cool and different and that it would be SO FUN for going out :) But I think I’m going to have to return it because it’s too big. But regardless, I wanted to fill you in on it because it’s SUPER cute…I just don’t feel comfortable wearing it :/

HOW IT FITS: loose, size down; you would definitely have to wear a sticky bra with it. I tried a black bralette with it and it looked tacky. As you can see it’s larger on the sides. I think it would “sit right” if you had a larger chest (if that makes sense) because then you’d be taking up more of the material. But all in all, SIZE DOWN.

Next up we have this off-the-shoulder printed top. I LOVE this one! I also ordered this for going out, but also thought it would be cute to wear during the day with shorts or just on the weekend with flats! Also featured in this outfit are these Rag & Bone White Skinny Jeans (lower-than-my-usual waist and fit true to size) and these jeweled flats (fit true to size AND there’s a little “thong” between your big and second toe so they stay on).

HOW IT FITS: Like I mentioned in the image above, the elastic part that goes around you (like above your chest) is a little tight I think. I’m wearing a size small and it fits well but I could probably wear a medium too. This top ALSO COMES IN black AND white! I got the white too!

This matching, check print top (ugh, almost sold out!!) and shorts set is so adorable isn’t it?!

HOW IT FITS: As you can see in the photos, the top is shorter-ish and is supposed to fit super wide (I LOVE it!) and the shorts have extra fabric like a skort kind of! I ordered an XS in both and I think they both fit true to size.
