In the past 6 months or so, I’ve rediscovered my long lost love for Citizens jeans. I had a few in high school, but until just recently I hadn’t touched a pair in years. And I don’t know if I was just missing out the past 5 years-ish OR if the brand totally revamped itself, but I’m telling you they’re AMAZING. And I especially love these (the one’s I’m waering in this post) because the color is different (a great alternative to your typical every day jean) AND because they’re high-waisted (my FAVE!).

On another note….

Yikes y’all! I leave for Milan in UNDER (eeek!) 24 hours and I have SO MUCH to do. For some reason, I thought I was leaving on Friday. But thank goodness I decided to check my flight yesterday because I was not-so-pleasantly surprised (slash shocked) to discover that I actually leave Wednesday.

This trip will be the first time for me to do the pre-season planning (a bunch of stuff…aka to get ready for the NEXT season which in this case is SS16) by myself. The past two times, I’ve traveled with my mom and we did everything together as a team. I’m nervous AND excited about going by myself, but I hope I’m able to get everything done. I’m excited to visit our factories and spend some one-on-one time discussing next season’s designs.
