There is quite a lot of blue going on in this outfit – I’m well aware. But I’m not gonna lie; I’m a sucker for monochromatic mixings and the occasional tonal variation to change things up a bit. And I think part of the reason is that I just love solid-colored clothing; and if you think about it, there’s only a handful of different ways you can pair a bunch of solid colors. Don’t get me wrong, I LOVE pretty prints and interesting patterns, but for some reason I’m always a little more willing to purchase a good ole’ solid before prints. Maybe it’s because I know I’ll get more wear out of it? (I’d like to think that’s the case…makes me feel like a smart shopper…which I am most certainly not!)
